Fish Cook Bundle

$11.95

Fish Cook is a simple economic game for 2-6 players, featuring robust market economics and simulated intellectual property theft. The fake back story traces the game’s roots to a hundred-year old French game called Claude Hubert la Criée, through various iterations and tributes, through a Japanese holding company’s unauthorized 1994 edition, all the way to the Cheapass Games catalog in 2013.

In truth, we made it ourselves. But that’s boring.

Here at the shop we are now offering the Fish Cook Bundle, consisting of a new edition deck and cardstock boards produced at DriveThruCards, along with a printed rulebook.

Game Components
Fish Cook is a true Cheapass Game, so along with purchasing the bundle here (or using one of the “Other Options” below), you will also need to find or make these additional components:

  • Fish Cook Counters (optional PnP), or use any Counters in six colors matching the farmer’s market

  • Money, about $200 per player;

  • Twelve 6-sided dice for the fish;

  • Ideally, at least one more die for the farmer’s market, better still a set of six in matching colors;

  • One Chef Token to indicate the first player; and

  • An extra die or other means of tracking the day

Other Options: We also offer a print-and-play version of Fish Cook. The printable components of Fish Cook are the boards, cards, rules, and the optional sheet of counters. The Boards and Deck that we offer here in the bundle are also available for purchase at DriveThruCards.
