You’re all venture capitalists, trying to make the most money off the IPOs of new one-shot companies who make stuff like “Disposable Cats” and “Old Fashioned Pants.” Since it’s just a game, you also get to make up the new products.
The Big Idea is an inventing and investing game, part “make up a funny thing” and part “put your money where it will make the most profit” game. In a vein similar to Apples to Apples (from the same year), players vote on what ideas they like best. But in this game you vote with money.
The Big Idea has been through several editions over the years, but this is the original #026, with just 54 black and white cards and a simple one-page rulebook.
