The Big Cheese PDF
You’re all middle managers at Rat Financial Incorporated, and you’re trying to score the most points by finishing high-value projects. The only hitch is that the more people you put on a project, the longer it takes to finish. The Big Cheese is a clever little time management game for 3 to 6 dirty rats.
This is the mostly-original version of The Big Cheese from Cheapass Games, with PDF files for cards and rules.
As with all our print-and-play files, the price for this product is strictly optional. You may also download it for free using the first link below.

You’re all managers at a huge company of rats. Your goal is complete projects by assigning your people to them, but the projects take longer the more people you assign. Just like in real life.
The Big Cheese is a simple bidding game where you bid with time as a resource. The more you pay (in workers) to secure a project, the more time it takes to finish. And at the end it’s still a die roll to see if it was worth any points!
The Big Cheese was designed in a collaborative “design a game in an hour” panel at Norwescon 1998, and it went to press with basically the same rules that were developed in that hour.
The rats in The Big Cheese were drawn by our very own Ms. Cheapass Games, Carol Monahan. And there was once a Japanese edition that came in a metal tin, with cute little rat meeples!
