Here are the files you’ll need to print your own copy of this open beta version.
Game Board (V 3.0, 9/23/24)
Game Cards (V 3.0, 9/23/24)
Game Rules (V 3.2, 6/10/25)
Summary: You and your opponents are archaeologists, hunting for lost treasures of the ancient world. On each turn you may visit either the market, where you can buy maps and sell artifacts, or the desert, where you can use your maps to find artifacts.
Map cards are somple puzzle patterns that you can find in the “shifting sands,” a 5x5 grid of black and white tokens. When you find an artifact it flips over the tokens in the pattern, and this can lead to more discoveries for you and the other players!
Sandy Diggs is a nice little puzzle game with a simple economy and straightforward game mechanics. Try it out and let us know what you think!
Version Notes:
Version 3.0 is a graphical overhaul, introducing the “Sandy Diggs” theme (It was once called Tomb of the Ancients), with a few small tweaks to the rules.
We will shortly post a version of this game at DriveThruCards. We think it’s pretty close to finished, and the new board is formatted to fit their large size poster. In the meantime, please enjoy the How to Play Video.
