El Oso: A Solitaire Board Game
EL Oso is a simple solitaire board game. You need twelve stacking counters for each side (a checkers set), several 6-sided dice, and a 5x5 game board. We have handmade game boards called Lejano boards which are perfect for El Oso.
The goal is to move your pieces across the board, without tangling with your enemy, “The Bear.” Your moves are purely strategic, and the Bear’s moves are random. The Bear’s strength depends on which stack you move. Plan carefully and don’t take big chances, and with luck you’ll survive.
