Bleeding Sherwood Returns: You’re traveling salesmen in the time of Robin Hood, selling worthless crap to the nouveau riche of Sherwood Forest, in this elegant bidding game from the early days of Cheapass Games.

Bleeding Sherwood wasn’t always so excellent, but this year we have made a special effort to update and remix this classic. The cards were always funny, but the bidding used to be really mean. Now it’s smooth and lovely, as one might hope from anything that’s just turned 30.

New Products in the Shop

We’ve introduced a new catchall category called the “Dusty Favorites,” where we cycle odd games we find in the basement from years gone by. Today this list includes the 2017 editions of Before I Kill You, Mister Spy, Button Men, and Doctor Lucky’s Mansion That Is Haunted, plus some random Lord of the Fries decks, and our 2003 boondoggle One False Step for Mankind.

We have also added a new set of 6x6 game boards, handmade from canarywood and maple, starting at just $45. These handsome boards are perfect for many of our abstract games including Tak, Prudh, and Jardin.

So Much To Tell!

New Videos: After quite the protracted hiatus, James Ernest has finally gone back into the studio to shoot several new how to play videos, including Bad Assassin, Bread Basket, and Bleeding Sherwood. Next week he might even make it out of the B’s.

Go-First Dice in the News: James Ernest had the idea, and other people did the math. Eric Harshbarger’s Go-First Dice made the news this month as his university honored him with giant wooden versions of the elusive 5-player set. Read more about Go-First Dice here.

Lords of Vegas Now in Pre-Order: Our friends at Medium Brow Games are about to release a sharp looking update for Lords of Vegas, James Ernest’s top-rated game about building casinos in the desert. Check out the new edition and get in line for a copy!
